Un brío impresionante e irrefrenable de colores define el contenido emocional y semántico de los paisajes de Pénushkin. Parece que sea el propio cuadro del artista el que engendre la sensación de vitalidad del inicio de la primavera.
Penushkin, Yury Ivanovich (Born 1935, Leningrad)
Painter. Studied at the Leningrad Palace of Pioneers and Schoolchildren (1945), Leningrad Secondary School of Art (1946–1953) and the Ilya Repin Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture (1953–1962, with interval). Post-graduate student at the Academy of Arts of the USSR (1964– 1967). Contributed to exhibitions (from 1963).
