Valentin Sidorov is an artist who vividly expresses the national Russian character. His work is oriented toward Russia and all of the deep threads associated with it. It goes beyond the boundaries of only touching upon subjects having to do with the village, rising up to major universal resonance. A master of the "exalted landscape", over the course of his long career, Sidorov has created an extraordinary collection of landscapes, a unique chronicle of the life of nature, its eternal cycle, and its first-born and inextricable connection with man.
