Annotation

The landscape composition is a “green classroom” of sorts, three of whose facing walls take the form of living plants – cedars and other shrubbery. The entrance to the classroom is composed of blossoming annuals and perennials. The verdant hedge is decorated with little color figures of elves cut out of chalk paper.
At the center of the “green classroom” stands a blackboard affixed with illustrations of different plants … and a genuine school desk, adorned with carefully-placed pens, scribblers and books on landscape design.
