Annotation
Charlotte Christine Sophie of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel (1694–1715) was the third daughter of Duke Ludwig Rudolf of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel, sister-in-law of Emperor Charles VI and aunt of Empress Maria Theresia. She married Tsarevich Alexis Petrovich in 1711, but he soon cooled to her. She died in 1715, a few days after the birth of her son Peter, the future Emperor Peter II.
