Educated at the University of Greenwich, Andrew achieved a BA (Hons) Degree in Garden Design, a PG Diploma in Adult Education and more recently an MA in Writing. Andrew went on to become Assistant Landscape Architect with The White Dutton Partnership and then joined John Brookes as his Associate Designer.
Andrew works in his own practice with commissions, which include gardens ranging from the transformation of a country estate in Devon, through refurbishments to an estate in Connecticut, a property in Grenada and an estancia and polo stud on the outskirts of Buenos Aires.
His background as an educator started with The John Brookes Masterclasses, after which he spent five years at Merrist Wood College developing the Garden Design School’s Higher Education programmes. He has acted as external verifier for the KLC and lectured on a regular basis at Barzi Casares in Buenos Aires.
Andrew took over as Director of the Garden Design Faculty and Online Studies at The Inchbald School of Design in 2006 and became a full member of The Society of Garden Designers in 2007.
