The Rain Garden

In nature, everything is connected; without water and the sun, there can be no life, and if rain falls to the earth, somewhere higher, beyond the wall of rain and fog, then every morning, without fail, the sun will rise and new life will begin. In many ways, a garden is a model of the world.
The landscape composition presented here represents a structure made from chaotically distributed details with flowing forms, associated with the puddles that form after the rain, with a large basin in the center. A semi-arched structure rises over the basin, painted in sunny, yellow-orange tones, an image of a sunbeam, suddenly bursting through the clouds and illuminating a gray, rainy garden. A series of apertures, through which water falls, representing rain, gives this structure lightness and originality.
The entire composition is complemented by bright floral ornaments.
