Since 2010 devoted to the Year of France in Russia and Russia in France, the Foundation of Parks and Gardens of France whose mission is to support the art of gardens, restore and promote them, has become a regular partner of the Russian Museum for the Festival of the Imperial Gardens of Russia. Sponsoring that same year the creation of part of the Renaissance period garden of Villandry in the Loire Valley and in 2012, in the 1150th anniversary of Russian sovereignty, the project created by Artem Parshin “A tribute to Peter the Great” his passion for French gardens and also a tribute to Jean-Baptiste Le Blond who created parks for the Russian emperor.
Under the auspices of the Foundation of Parks and Gardens of France, Marie-Sol de La Tour d’Auvergne decided to share her experience of restoration of historic gardens by organizing every year with Pierre Joyaux at the chateau d’Ainay-le-Vieil “The Training Program for the Restoration of Historic Gardens” for Russian curators, landscapers and gardeners of historic gardens, in collaboration with Green Arrow Landscape School and the Association Festival Cultures Croisées.
