Vera Viglina is a St. Petersburg-based artist and sculptor.

A graduate of the Ceramics Department at the Saint Petersburg State Art and Industry Academy (Vera Mukhina Higher School of Art and Design), Vera Viglina began her artistic career working with porcelain, pottery and miniatures before moving on to larger forms in the early 2000s. Today, she creates strikingly-original sculptures for gardens and parks made of chamotte, sometimes combined with glass, metal and wood.

The sculptures and landscape installations created by the author are distinctive for their keen sense of material, fluid, harmonious forms and organic fusion with the surrounding environment. In her work, the artist deals with eternal values such as love, family, and self-improvement, and nudges the viewer to look inward.

Vera Viglina, the author of personal exhibitions in St. Petersburg (at Yusupov Gardens, Peter and Paul Fortress, Pavlovsk Museum Preserve, and other venues throughout the city), also participates actively in major group projects and international artistic forums.
