Creative Association FOUR ELEMENTS is the union of professional St Petersburg artists, members of the Union of Artists of Russia, working in different styles and directions (graphic art, painting, ceramic art, stained glass...). Including: Vera Pavlova, Alexander Bazarin, Alexander Lytkin, Ivan Tarasyuk, Armen Gasparyan and many others.
All works are made on wooden bases which were handmade by the author of the project of painting on wood – St Petersburg artist Vladislav Shumakov (1945–2010).
From 2007 to 2012 artists of the association created 6 thematic collections:
• Colorful Carrousel (Earth element – painted wooden horses)
• Wondrous Catch (Water element – painted wooden fish)
• Miraculous Birds (Air element – painted wooden birds)
• An Angel to every House (Christmas and Easter)
• Angel Time (painted wooden Angels-Clocks). Author of forms is V. Shumakov.
The forms were painted by 30 artists from St Petersbur.
